Fakemon Starters: Who would you choose?

I've decided to exhibit my Fakemon Starters all together. I'm really curious for opinions (especially who you'd choose & why).

Typing:

Buttree and Fortree are purely Grass Pokemon, but Courtree gains Rock typing (shifting the power balance between itself Scorchorus and Cornicariot).

Scorchid and Scorchior are Fire, but Scorchorus is also Flying (for the same reason as above).

Cornicip and Cornicolt are Water, but Cornicariot is also Steel.


Stats:

The Grass starters stats focus upon Defense (quite heavily in fact) and, to a lesser extent, Attack - at the expense of Sp stats and Speed (especially).

The Fire starters are all Speed and Attack, with very little else.

The Water starters are more balanced, with raised Defense, Sp Def and Sp Attack.


Exclusive Items:

Each starter line has a special item that is specifically engineered to either enhance an advantage or overcome a major weakness:

Grass has Crenelation (which reduces the damage taken from super effective moves)

Fire has Flight Goggles (which completely negates entry hazards - goodbye double weakness to Stealth Rocks!)

Water has Aqua Filter (which automatically removes conditions - such as Poison, Burn, Paralysis)
